Sanpaolo Teachers - Special People

Sanpaolo is highly selective in choosing the men and women who will eventually become its instructors. Not everyone qualifies, and those who do must complete a demanding training program before being permitted to teach. Sanpaolo instructors must not only have a native command of the language they teach, but they must also have pleasant and energetic personalities. They must really enjoy interacting with other people.

Teacher Training

Prospective teachers receive thorough initial training, which like Sanpaolo Instruction itself, demands the constant active participation of the trainees. During the training, the prospective teachers are introduced to the practice in depth the “teaching cycle” and how to apply it to different situations. Trainees are familiarized with all of the instructional materials they will use in the classroom. Actual lessons are conducted, with other trainees playing the parts of the students. Teachers regularly receive refresher training, particularly when new materials, exams or techniques are introduced.

Monitoring for Quality control

After a prospective teacher’s initial training has been completed, he or she enters a trial teaching period. During this period, the instruction is monitored by an instructional supervisor, who then prepares a report with comments on the strong and weak points of the teacher’s performance. And, of course, experienced teachers continue to be monitored periodically as well. Sanpaolo’s standards for its teachers are the highest in the industry. This fact, combined with the power of the Sanpaolo Method, is what enables Sanpaolo to maintain its leadership position in language instruction.

Instructional Formats

Instruction has been successfully offered in three basic productive formats: private (one-to-one), semi-private (2 to 3 students), and group (10 students or more). Over time, 3 additional formats have emerged for OET and IELTS: 1) Intensive 1 month, Which evolved from group, and private instruction and is characterized by its daylong intensity and other special features such as a customized lesson approach and helping the student with the double lessons. 2) 2 Months – Consecutive group + one-to-one training 3) 3 Months – mandatory group + one to one training 4) “Charter” Instruction, which is a variation on the group format, In contrast to a group. “charter” members do not enrol separately, but through their employer or affinity group (an agency, for example), and the customer selects the participating students.

Flexibility

An important feature of Sanpaolo instruction is the degree to which it can be tailored to the needs of the individual student. In most cases, this can take place within the context of the standard instructional materials. In some cases, however, special curricula and even special materials are created for customers with specific needs: Business Communication skills, International presentations, and Official examinations, just to name a few.

Doctors, Nurses and healthcare staff in Europe

This program is aimed at teaching languages to Indian doctors and healthcare staff for Europe – not just new doctors and staff starting out, but also established, practicing medical doctors and staff who are moving to Europe. (Europe currently has a shortage of Doctors and Healthcare staff and is inviting them from other countries in the European Union to settle here) The program is delivered in four modules of three weeks each (thirty 45-minute lesson units per week). The participants are taught the basics of foreign languages, then move on to more complicated texts and toward the end of the program, to fairly difficult medical texts and videos. The goal of the program is to give the students a well-rounded command of languages so that they can communicate with their patients from day one without much difficulty.

I’m Justin Thaerath, coordinator and Pedagogical expert at San Paolo.After completing my PhD and Post-Graduation from Madrid – Spain, I have been working as the Head of Instructions at a popular University in Spain. I also completed my Cambridge CELTA in IH – from UK (Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults) My well-experienced career of more than 25 years in teaching and in the coordination of a vast team of instructors, allows me to secure you that our work at San Paolo will help you achieve all your language goals. Being a graduate in nursing, my experience as a nurse and a manager in European healthcare sector for about 15 years, gives me the confidence to assure your success. Apart from that, i have been a language instructor for years and i have helped candidates come out with flying colours. San Paolo was born out of the passion to help transform people's lives by helping them pass their language tests for work, study or to move to the country of their dreams.

My name is Geni, and I've always had a passion for teaching. I have a master's degree in engish. My academic background and my 15 years' worth of experience in teaching nationally and internationally has equipped me with the knowledge and abilities to help my pupils reach their goals. During my career overseas, I have been a private english tutor to royal family and have also successfully taught and mentored pupils of various nationalities. It would be my joy to help any student of mine attain the employment and standard of their dreams. Through San Paolo you'll encounter a distinct method of learning, developing and ultimately enjoying the whole course plan.

I am Johnson, Language trainer and university lecturer in United Arab Emirates. I have completed post-graduation in English Literature and MBA in HRM. Having 13 years of language teaching experience on skills such as grammar (spoken-written) and writing (academic and professional) I am privileged to be part of Sanpaolo instructor team. I am currently fortunate to have been entrusted with teaching grammar to OET applicants and IELTS examination candidates. My main purpose is to bridge between what you mean and what other readers or listeners comprehend. Being a grammar instructor, I get such a great opportunity to develop wonder in students and reflect them more deeply upon their world. Giving every student a voice is my priority.
